Fantabulous Friday Finds: Gifts edition

Hello! I am so happy you decided to stop by and visit for a spell.

Without a doubt, my love language is gifts.  I talked about the 5 love languages in my blog, https://www.ladybenton.com/inspiration/love-equals-service.  I love to buy gifts for those I love and I love to receive a well thought out present.  I thought I would share some of my favorite gift ideas with you. You might be surprised that I can be very practical when it comes gift giving.  I love impractical gifts as well, but when in doubt, I’d much rather you give me something practical that I can actually use than a doo dad that I shove in a drawer somewhere.  This list will be a combination of practical and just plain fun.

Gifts under $25

Think I was kidding about the practical? How about a spatula? I love these spatulas you can buy from Le Creuset. I honestly don’t think you can have too many of them. They come in all sorts of fun colors. Find out the person’s color scheme and buy one to match their kitchen, pair it with a brownie mix, either still in the box or in a mason jar. Tie a gingham bow around it and your done! You can even buy them right, or left handed. I guarantee you if you a buy a leftie, a special left handed spatula, they are going to be amazed at your thoughtfulness. And if you can get by a Le Creuset Outlet store, a lot of times, you can catch them for $7.50.

Gifts under $50

First up let’s start with a practical item that Mr. Benton actually received, but I ended up loving.  This gift almost fits in the under $25 category.

We have some friends, who incidentally the wife has MS.  Because of this, she had lost the ability to grind her pepper so her husband bought her these automatic salt and pepper grinders.  Mr. Benton was so fascinated with them every time he went to their house, they bought us a set. I am telling you these are game changers and I never want to go back to the old fashioned kind.  Sometimes change is good. Most of the time it’s not, but that’s another story! Below the ones I have are linked, but they have different styles you might like better.

At $28 these make a very affordable gift that I guarantee you they will love!  Want to kick it up a notch? Add a bag of pepper and a bag of Himalayan salt. Either way, they’ll be tickled pink!  Get it? I crack myself up ;)

Another item I recently bought myself is an airfryer.  I debated and debated because if you follow me on instastories, you know I am a kitchen appliance junkie.  You also know that I recently reviewed this airfryer and I am in love! The thing is, you don’t have to use it for just air frying, you can use it to warm up things like leftover pizza or blackberry pie.  It warms in minutes and doesn’t make the crust hard, just crispy and delicious. I bought this one from Sam’s and it even comes in delicious minty color. Note, Sam’s not longer has it but I have linked it at HSN.com. These probably will be on sale on Black Friday.

This next item is a little more fun but definitely practical and necessary as well.  I am a big believer in personalized stationary. It makes the necessary duty of writing thank you notes and such a joyful task.  You can find some of the cutest Lady Benton approved stationary at this Etsy Shop, or at Horchow. One time, a person I barely knew gave me my first stationary with my name on it, and I just thought it was the best gift ev-ah!!

To go with that stationary, how about adding an address stamp?  This would also make a fabulous gift by itself because who thinks to order themselves a stamp? If someone gave me a personalized stamp, I would be elated!! I have linked a company that does custom stuff, but vistaprint also does them for a good price.

Believe it or not, I have even more for you lovelies!! But I am going to save those for next week! Thank you all for reading my blog. And a special hello to my beautiful cousin Stephanie Jill in Iowa and all of her office buddies. Thank you for taking time out of your day to read my wanderings an meanderings.

Until next time,

Lady Benton
